My name is Dione Forty, I’m 30 years old, and I’m a Graphic Designer and Animator from Luxembourg.
I hold three bachelor’s degrees — one in Graphic Design and two in Animation. I studied in Luxembourg at the Arts et Métiers and in the Netherlands at the Willem de Kooning Academy. Through both my education and my friends, I discovered and developed my deep love for animation.

I have always loved watching movies, especially animated films. Even as a child, I enjoyed analyzing my favorite movies, such as The Little Mermaid and Princess Mononoke.
​
However, it is not only animation that fascinates me. I am equally passionate about traditional and digital art, including watercolor painting, alcohol marker illustrations, and digital paintings. A uniquely personal hobby of mine is sculpting figurines by hand using clay.

Outside of my creative pursuits, I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing video games, and admiring every dog or cat I encounter when I’m out and about.

Capsule is a video production company , I have been working for two years. They are an amazing team of professionals, highly skilled in both camera work and editing.
Based in Luxembourg, the company consists of four members and offers a wide range of services, including green screen production, drone filming, filming abroad, aftermovies, museum exhibition content, and creative edits for any platform.

Willem de Kooning Academie
2019-2023
I studied at Willem de Kooning Academy in the Netherlands for four years, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animation. The program focused on teamwork and encouraged students to develop complete projects in a professional-style environment.

During my studies, I worked as team leader and creative lead on the short film Stowaway. I also served as lead animator on the project The Missing Ingredient.

The BTS Dessin d’Animation program focused on teaching us the essential skills required in a professional animation environment. Over the course of two years, I developed and refined my artistic abilities, which led to the creation of my very first short film Rock it to Heaven.
